Our APAP Trial Rental is designed to provide affordable rental of APAP masks and machine during the therapy trial period. Patients suffering from sleep apnea now have options to choose the most comfortably fitted mask before committing to a purchase.
Everyone adapts differently to APAP therapy. During the trial period, Veron Hee who is a friendly and registered nurse will follow up closely on therapy compliance, troubleshoot therapy, conduct re-mask fitting, provide report evaluation, review outcomes. Therefore, working together with each patient on achieving the optimal result out of their therapy.
1. Why should you do a machine and mask trial rental program?
Successful compliance to therapy depend on well fitted mask that is suitable to patient facial feature and preference. A trial program give patients the freedom and flexibility to change and try various masks.
2. Can I rent a CPAP mask or CPAP?
Yes, you can rent a mask and a PAP machine of your preferred choice for a maximum of 6 weeks..
3. Can I try another CPAP mask during the trial program?
Yes, you have the option to change the mask with a surcharge during the program.
4. What types of CPAP and mask available for trial rental?
You have an option to go on a trial rental with the latest AutoPAP (also known as CPAP), autoBiPAP machine and one model of mask.
5. What should I expect on my first consultation?
We have a private room with treatment couch where our CPAP Nurse Veron Hee will provide a one-on-one consultation up to 90 minutes. The consultation includes patient education on OSA and tips for a successful CPAP Therapy. This is to ensure patients understand the diagnosis and at the same time address concerns. Next, we will go through a Mask Fitting Session to select the mask suitable with you. For the first time, you will try on a CPAP mask together with CPAP machine for a couple of minutes. We encourage you to bring a copy of sleep study report for further clarifications..
6. What happen during the trial rental period?
Your CPAP Nurse will be working closely with you, provides personalised monitoring of your therapy progress, troubleshoot and adjust clinical settings of the CPAP therapy when necessary.
7. What kind of report will i get at the end of the program?
All CPAP devices record data of your usage. A compliance report will be downloaded at the end of your trial. The details include usage data like Vibration, Apnea and Hypopnea events, 90% Percentile Pressure, Mask fitting. A printed copy will be provided for review with your physician.
8. What is the cost of machine and mask trial rental program?
